One storm is deadly... Multiple storms are war.

In Twisters, Kate Cooper, a scientist haunted by a traumatic storm-chasing experience, reluctantly returns to the field during one of the most active tornado seasons on record. She joins a team working on cutting-edge weather prediction technology—hoping to help prevent future disaster.

But her mission quickly collides with Tyler Owens (Glen Powell), a cocky, viral storm-chaser who thrives on adrenaline and livestreams every heart-pounding near-death moment with his thrill-seeking crew.

As rival teams clash and egos flare, a new threat emerges: a historic weather convergence unlike anything seen before, unleashing back-to-back superstorms and multi-vortex tornados across central Oklahoma.

With the clock ticking and nature out of control, Kate, Tyler, and their teams must put aside their differences to survive and outpace the storm systems tearing across the plains—before they’re swept away for good.
