They came for a wedding.
They found themselves in a fight for their lives.

Something in the Water follows a close-knit group of women reuniting for Lizzie’s wedding in the Caribbean. The sun is shining, the water is turquoise, and their bond is unshakable—until a spontaneous trip to a remote island the day before the ceremony changes everything.

As they enjoy one last dip in the ocean, Ruth is viciously attacked by a shark. With panic rising, the friends scramble to save her and return to the boat—but disaster strikes again: the boat is damaged and begins to sink, leaving them adrift in open water.

Now facing dehydration, circling predators, and fracturing trust, the women must rely on each other to survive—not just the elements, but the truths that emerge under pressure. Every drop of blood in the water brings the sharks closer… and every second counts.
