Storyline:
Love is complicated—but sometimes, it’s just plain awkward.
Florence is madly in love with David and wants to take the next step: introducing him to her father. But there’s just one problem—David isn’t interested in her romantically. Instead of rejecting her outright, he hatches a plan to push Florence into the arms of his friend, Willy.
The three of them—and Florence’s unsuspecting father—end up in a remote restaurant in the middle of nowhere, where emotions run high, awkward encounters unfold, and the night takes an unexpected turn filled with tension, humor, and surprises.
A witty and sharp take on unrequited love, misguided matchmaking, and the absurdity of human relationships, Le deuxième acte is a film that questions romance, self-worth, and what it really means to chase after love that isn’t meant to be.
