They freed him once... Now another girl is dead... And everyone’s looking at him.
Jack, a former convict, is released from prison after new DNA evidence clears him of a horrific child murder that shattered the town of Huntsville, Texas. But barely a year later, another young girl is found dead—killed in a chillingly similar way.
With fear and rage rekindled, the town turns on Jack again. Though legally free, he’s branded a monster in the court of public opinion. Determined to prove he’s not the killer, Jack sets out to track down the truth himself, uncovering old secrets, buried connections, and a web of hidden suspects that point to a more sinister pattern.
As the investigation deepens, Jack must battle hostile law enforcement, grieving families, and even his own fractured sense of identity—because the closer he gets to the truth, the more dangerous the town becomes.
Is he innocent… or is the past more complicated than anyone knows?
