Storyline:
Two sisters. Two worlds. One last journey together.

Twin sisters Rianne and Juliette were once inseparable, but adulthood has taken them in completely opposite directions.

  • Rianne stayed in Rotterdam, dedicating herself to caring for their ailing father and managing his small snack bar—while her compulsive collecting habits start spiraling out of control.
  • Juliette, on the other hand, thrives in Amsterdam’s world of luxury, making a career as a professional organizer—helping others declutter their lives while keeping Rianne at a distance.

When their father Cor passes away, he leaves them with one final wish: to scatter his ashes on the Spanish coast. But neither sister trusts the other to do it right.

Reluctantly, they embark on a road trip together, forced to confront old wounds, their differences, and the memories that still bind them. As the miles pass, so do the barriers between them, leading to unexpected moments of laughter, frustration, and reconciliation.

A bittersweet and comedic journey about family, loss, and finding common ground, De Z van Zus proves that no matter how far apart we grow, some connections never fade.
