Storyline:
A reporter from Yekaterinburg, on assignment from his newsroom, finds himself in a remote village deep in the taiga, where he hears an ancient legend about the forest master. As he heads home, he suddenly begins to see and hear this ancient spirit, who asks him to save the disappearing mystical creatures of the forest.

Agreeing to help, the reporter embarks on a journey to lands nearly untouched by civilization, accompanied by his 12-year-old daughter, who has come to visit him for the holidays from Moscow...
