Storyline:
The past is a place some want to remember—and others would rather forget.

Ruth, an ambitious American journalist, embarks on a deeply personal journey with her father, Edek, a Holocaust survivor, as they travel to Poland to visit his childhood places. Ruth is eager to reconnect with her father’s past and uncover history through his eyes, but Edek wants nothing to do with it.

Instead of embracing the trip, he resists, sabotages, and avoids confronting his memories, leading to unexpectedly funny and touching moments. What begins as a journey of remembrance turns into a complex, bittersweet adventure of family, trauma, and resilience, where humor becomes a tool for survival.

A unique blend of drama and comedy, Treasure is a poignant exploration of generational trauma, cultural identity, and the delicate balance between honoring the past and living in the present.
